Our goal is to make
the task easier for wineries, merchants, cooperative cellars and export agents, by arranging their wine & spirits deliveries from France, Italy, Spain and worldwide. Wine and spirits are special commodities whose business is controlled by regulations specific to each country. There are barriers to worldwide alcohol transport. Our job is to anticipate any possible hold ups and manage all the time-consuming regulatory aspects so you don’t have to.
We are freight forwarders
This allows us to arrange and contract, under our responsibility and in our own name, the shipment of goods by any mode on behalf of our customers.
The profession of freight forwarder is regulated in terms of access and practice. (Article R1411-1 of the Transport Code)The services that can be offered by a freight forwarder are as follows:
• groupage: consignments of goods from several shippers or addressed to several consignees are brought together and made up into a single batch for transport,
• chartering: consignments are entrusted to public carriers without prior consolidation,
• city office: the freight forwarder takes charge of parcels or retail shipments and hands them over separately either to public carriers or to other freight forwarders,
• Organisation of transport: the freight forwarder takes charge of goods coming from or going to the national territory and arranges for them to be transported by one or more public carriers by any means whatsoever.
Entry in the freight forwarders' register is held and managed by the DREAL. It is subject to two conditions: professional competence and good repute.
The certificate of professional competence, held by Erwan Leteurtre for Hillebrand Gori eShipping, distinguishes us from agents whose service is limited to that of an intermediary, without the obligation of result that we impose on ourselves as a forwarding agent, but also without contractual civil liability cover for the goods transported.
