Hillebrand Gori eShipping can assist you in the creation and renewal of your FDA registration number.
Each and every company willing to export food products to the USA must obtain a registration number from the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
October 1, 2022 will start the new registration renewal season with the FDA agency. eShipping makes it easy for you to renew your FDA number.
The registration with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is required for facilities that manufacture, process, pack or hold food products. This also applies to alcoholic beverages such as wine and spirits. If your business produces, blends and/or stores wine, it will need to register with the FDA.
A winemaker can register with the FDA, but will need to provide information to a designated "US agent" as a referral for the US market (e.g. your importer or sales agent).
This US-based agent is responsible for validating the registration. Once your 11-digit number is created, your registration must be renewed with the FDA at the end of each even-numbered year (2020, 2022, etc.). If you have not renewed your FDA registration by December 31 of the even-numbered year, it will expire in the FDA system. Eventually, you'll have to make a new FDA registration.
VignoblExport can assist you in the creation and renewal of this registration number.
Please provide your FDA number and its associated PIN code. We will take the necessary steps to renew your FDA number. You will then be able to continue your exports to the USA from December 31st. But be careful, without the PIN code we won't be able to perform this process for you.
A new additional verification step: Unique Facility Identifier (UFI) and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS)
As of October 1, 2022, each institution will be recognized by a unique 9-digit identification number (UFI). This will avoid duplicate registrations. VignoblExport can verify your DUNS number or assist you in doing so.
